Many communities have existing infrastructure and businesse that may need help to update, repurpose or extend to meet visitor needs for 2030
Restore infrastructure
Restoring visitor infrastructure Refurbish re-purpose, refit and relaunch any hotels, food outlets or food suppliers with product and design advice and equity and community loan funding from our proposed Communuity fund.
All existing hospitality businesses that need support will benefit from a National Park program to support Day Visitor and Staycation Accommodation and eating and enjoyment infrastructure and business.
We aim to create Industry and community teams that will help each community create and repurpose assets and business to meetthe needs of visitors needs for 2030
Since COVID visitors are spending more time and more money on both day visits and staycations. Much of this market needs a focus on value - from £10 a head meals or £50 overnight to promotions where attractions and activities are combined with transport and accomodation and meals.
Community teams funded to work with Development and Business teams will help existing and new business create the offerings for our Day and Staycation visitors in 2030.
A proposed National Park Community fund can take secured equity stakes in existing and new business in partnership with business and community.
