Each community can target its infrastructure at the best suited visitor cohort from day visitors to business visitors

Visitor infrastructure matters

Creating visitor infrastructure Visitors are inevitable with or without a National Park but a structured approach to creating new infrastructure and creating car parks, toilets and gateway centres will limit congestion and environment degradation.

  • Gateway centres route visitors away from choke points and prevent unnecessary impact and community pressure.

  • Encourage and support business that provides £10 a head food and £50 overnight with structured assistance and funding based around Gateway promotion and outlet extension.

  • Sensitive use of local materials and creating and using local businesses to improve and create and design gateway and other infrastructure needed to mitigate visitor pressure and improve visitor outcome and pleasure.

  • Helping locals with business infrastructure support to create new food and overnight business; food production, food processing with funding, Mentor, admin and Angel support.

  • Online and marketing, AI and logistics Infrastructure to help food, overnight, activity and attraction businesses.

  • Car Parks and transport links between each Gateway centre, and local food, overnight, activity and attraction businesses.
